Fall is full of flavor
The smell of Autumn has been in the air lately even with the warmer temps! Can you smell it? Fresh apples and pumpkins everywhere. I love this time of the year. Just to name a few of our designs we will have Christmas trees, Santas, Santas belly, Rudolph (he’s always a HUGE hit!) Gingerbread people and faces, snowmen and more. They make excellent stocking stuffers since they do not need to be refrigerated and can stay out overnight. Did you know that they last several weeks in the fridge? So long as you can keep everyone from eating them. That is usually a problem, however, now with the sale you will get a few extra that you can eat BEFORE the holiday.

Holiday Vendor Fair’s
Hey everyone I wanted to say THANK YOU for coming out to see us Wednesday, November 12th at the National Institutes of Health. We enjoyed seeing friends from last year as well as making some new ones. It’s always great to see our repeat customers.
Sunday was our first time participating in the Holiday Vendor Fair put on by the Real Housewives of Loudoun County Virginia. I’m thrilled to be a part of that great group of people. This was there second event and it was GREAT! We look forward to doing the Spring fair in 2015.
Cake Pop flavors we had on had at the shows were our signature chocolate fudge, red velvet, apple cake dipped in salted caramel and pumpkin spice with cream cheese. We also brought out our turkeys done in chocolate fudge featuring cute tags so that our customers can use them as name cards or as a take away for the big Thanksgiving dinner.
Here are a few photos of our booth from both events. I am so in love with my “tu-tu” skirt I had made for the shows. I always get alot of compliments on how beautiful our table looks. Presentation and TASTE above all is key!
This week I will be making some martini olive pops, wedding party pops and more turkeys. Turkeys will be here from now until the big day so go ahead and get your order in now.

Salted Caramel Apple Spice Cake Pops……it’s what’s up!
WOW these are bursting with fall flavor! The freshest ingredients, tiny chunks of apples, the cinnamon encompassed in a slightly salted caramel is absolutely divine! You simply MUST try one yourself to experience the wonderful-ness…….is that even a word? These are amazing and I think my new favorite. What is your fall favorite? So lets get started shall we? Here is what the cake looks like after I bake and crumble it into a bowl. I then add frosting to it which looks like this

Once you melt those, slowly or they burn, you can then dip your pops.

Playing with white cake
This weekend I decided to try a new white cake recipe from one of my most beloved cookbooks. Well lets just say that I was not impressed nor where my family members. The cake looked pretty with the rose top but I found the recipe to be flat. It’s all about experimenting and trying new things otherwise how would we know what we like and dislike? I urge you to go and do the same pick a recipe whether its for a cake or a special dessert and give it a try. Just PLEASE do not try it for a big event without having done a trial run I would hate for you to be disappointed like we were. Here is our white on white rose cake

Fall is in the air
Happy Saturday everyone! Is it getting chilly where you are? We have had a few chilly mornings here in the Washington area but they turn into beautiful sunny days. Fall is a great time to get outside and explore nature with the ones you love. It is also time to start thinking about Halloween. I’m partial to the holiday because it is my birthday. Are there any other Halloween babies out there????
We are starting to get booked for October, however there is still time to place your orders. Pops make great treats to bring to the kids school for parties. Cake pops are also great in bouquets for those that are allergic to flowers or if you just want something different to give for a special occasion.
