Mounds bar and black forest pops
We were busy yesterday in the Tasty Kitchens creating some new delicious flavors for your enjoyment.
We did three new flavors:
Mounds Bar: Coconut cake mixed with a light coconut frosting dipped in dark (or milk if you prefer) chocolate with coconut sprinkled on top
Lemon Raspberry: Moist lemon cake mixed with a vanilla frosting with a dab of raspberry jam in the center that has been dipped in a white raspberry fudge chocolate. OH MY this smells so good!
Black Forest: Our favorite chocolate cake with a hint of cherry mixed with chocolate frosting, a cherry in the center and dipped in milk or dark chocolate.

Spring Sprinkles
Sprinkles are like edible glitter to me, they make everything so cute and sparkly. So naturally when I walk past them at any store I can’t help but stop, stare and usually add several to my cart. Don’t they just make you smile? While at Home Goods the other day I picked up a few bottles of them in wonderful pastel or what I like to say Spring-y colors! Sugar on Top is the brand and I just adore the lovely glass bottles that they put them in. I’m also a published paper crafter so when the jars are empty guess what I use them for? YES, GLITTER!!! and/or sequins which is another obsession of mine. In fact if you like paper crafts check out my group on Facebook called Papercrafters Cafe, it is for crafting whether it be cakes, knitting, paper crafting (primarily) or beading we would love to have you there.

Snow and Frigid Temps
Happy New Year everyone! The new year brought with it our first snow and frigid temps brrrrrrr but that’s ok gives us time to play in the kitchen with some new recipes.

Santa Claus is coming to town……
Everyone loves Santa I mean how can you not? That jolly belly of his well I had to make it a cake pop. Kids LOVE finding these in there Christmas stockings as do the adults!

Holiday Sale
We are offering for the Holiday Season buy 2 dozen get a half dozen FREE. GREAT deal and we are booking up so please get your orders in early. Just to name a few of our designs we will have Christmas trees, Santas, Santas belly, Rudolph (he’s always a HUGE hit!) Gingerbread people and faces, snowmen and more. They make excellent stocking stuffers since they do not need to be refrigerated and can stay out overnight. Did you know that they last several weeks in the fridge? So long as you can keep everyone from eating them. That is usually a problem, however, now with the sale you will get a few extra that you can eat BEFORE the holiday.
Have a special request please email me and I will do my best to accomodate. Need a large number of pops (100 or more) for your party email for special pricing.

Holiday Vendor Fair’s
Hey everyone I wanted to say THANK YOU for coming out to see us Wednesday, November 12th at the National Institutes of Health. We enjoyed seeing friends from last year as well as making some new ones. It’s always great to see our repeat customers.
Sunday was our first time participating in the Holiday Vendor Fair put on by the Real Housewives of Loudoun County Virginia. I’m thrilled to be a part of that great group of people. This was there second event and it was GREAT! We look forward to doing the Spring fair in 2015.
Cake Pop flavors we had on had at the shows were our signature chocolate fudge, red velvet, apple cake dipped in salted caramel and pumpkin spice with cream cheese. We also brought out our turkeys done in chocolate fudge featuring cute tags so that our customers can use them as name cards or as a take away for the big Thanksgiving dinner.
Here are a few photos of our booth from both events. I am so in love with my “tu-tu” skirt I had made for the shows. I always get alot of compliments on how beautiful our table looks. Presentation and TASTE above all is key!
This week I will be making some martini olive pops, wedding party pops and more turkeys. Turkeys will be here from now until the big day so go ahead and get your order in now.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Have you checked your’s?
Do you know someone in your life that has been affected by breast cancer? Someone who has been diagnosed and is currently fighting this disease? Someone who is in remission or someone who lost the battle? Well October is a time to remember, pray and honor all those affected by breast cancer. I personally had a scare several years ago that ended in a clear biopsy but it makes me think daily of those who did not have that result. So please get your mammogram today. Life is precious save the tatas!!
It is never to late to have a cheerful bouquet sent to that special someone to simply say “I’m thinking of you” Order a dozen today and don’t worry we do these all year long because October is not the only month to bring attention to breast cancer awareness.
